How we keep Cykee safe.

AI moderation on every upload

Every photo, voice intro, and chat message you send is checked before it's saved. Photos go through two layers — OpenAI's omni-moderation (the App Store-mandatory categories: nudity, violence, hate, self-harm), and a Cykee-specific layer that also blocks weapons, drugs, cash-flex shots, screenshots, and photos where a minor is the main subject. If it doesn't fit, you see the reason inline so you know what to change.

Reports go somewhere real

Any user can report any profile. Three independent reports on the same person and we auto-hide their profile pending review. Edgar reviews every queue manually. Bad-faith reporters — the pile-on attack on a competitor or ex — themselves become candidates for action.

Strikes for no-shows

Cykee runs on real time — when you accept a date, someone clears their afternoon for you. We track no-shows with a six-strike ladder (warning → cooldowns → permanent ban). Strikes decay over clean months so an honest mistake doesn't live forever.

18+ only. Always.

Cykee is strictly for adults. You confirm at signup, every uploaded photo runs through an automated minor-detection check, and any “this person looks underage” report is reviewed immediately. If we discover Child Sexual Abuse Material, we delete it and report to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

What you can do

In the app, every profile has a Report and Block. Six fixed reasons cover the common cases (inappropriate content, harassment, fake profile, underage, spam, other). Anonymized to the person being reported — they never know it was you.
